5th Blogaversary celebration

Morning all you crafty Peeps.

I did promise I had something special in store for my 5th Blogaversary, well today it's time to share what I have in mind. I never fail to be amazed by all the wonderful creativity and talent that surrounds us here in blogland and have been trying to think of a way where more of us can see and appreciate one another's work outside our usual crafting and blogging circles.

So I went back to my very first post and that planted the germ of an idea because as well as being quite an eye opener the very first card I blogged.............. and some of you will see the funny side of this, as did I because I really had no idea until now, but guess what stamp I used on that card ? Yep, Stampendous P107 Agapanthus Cluster. Friends and those who have been to my classes or demos will know that it's my very favourite stamp and I actually have two lovely wood mounted ones, I bought a second one just in case it was ever discontinued.........sad or what ! And that first card also had a bird and was in Autumnal colours, so it seems some things never change although I hope my crafting has improved over the years as one or two of those early creations make my cringe when I look at them.

Anyway this gave me the perfect idea what I would like Peeps to do to join in my blog celebration...........

Share your all time favourite crafting item by entering a new piece of artwork using it, it can be a stamp, dies, fabric, colouring medium, just whatever you find you return to time and again. And I will be sharing one of two using my favourite P107 as well !!

Each week I am going to select my four favourites from the previous weeks entries and post them on my blog with a link to your blogs and at the end of the four weeks which will be 5th March I will do a random draw of all entries for seven winners who will all receive two sets of dies..........these are brand new ones not available in the shops as yet so I am told.

Here is what you need to do:
  • Pop the picture above onto your sidebar with a link back here.
  • Add your name and project using your favourite craft item to Inlinkz below making sure you link to the post with your favourite piece and not just your blog.
  • Tell me in your post what you have used as your favourite item and mention my candy celebration with a link back here, just the same as when you enter a challenge.
  • You do need to be a follower of my blog, but of course new ones will be very welcome.
  • I am happy for you to enter twice if you wish, but please no more than that.
A final little note, I am often asked why I offer candy so often, well it's simple, I don't get to blog and comment as often as I might like at times due to health issues, so it's my way of thanking all my loyal friends and followers for their support, friendship and constant source of inspiration.

Hiya hun! My favorite crafting item has to be my snowflake-die-set. I linked my entry with link to that tag so you can see all the cards that I have made with them. I just totally love them! :) Let's see if I come with another item that I keep on using...

Thanks for the chance to win and have a fantastic & fabulous 5th blogaversary!!
Hugs,
Eemeli

I've been to have a "peek" at your early masterpieces Brenda (it's your own fault...you made me!!) and it struck me how the craft market has erupted over those five years. Peel offs were considered awfully sophisticated even then!! Hope the Grandchildren have forgiven you for the scrapbook page too!! Such a fabulous inspirational and generous event for us to take part in xx

I like your story about this stamp. I'm sure thos rubber will last for a long time.
My favourite crafting items are dies. I can't imagine my projects without them. In each and every one there must be at least one die. Even now when my children (somehow!) had brokem crank handle in my BS I'm using my "marvellous" machine.
Thank you for all the inspirations you gave me for those time. Have another wonderful 55555 years of blogging!
